Bhagavad Gita discourse series ends

Staff Reporter

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A 45-day discourse series on the Bhagavad Gita titled ‘The Art of Man Making’ concluded recently at the Indian Consulate Hall in Dubai, a press note issued here said.

The discourses were led by Swami Sandeep Chaithanya, director of the School of Bhagavad Gita.

The discourse series gave emphasis to non-sectarian values and universal relevance of the Bhagavad Gita as a guide to the making of a complete human being. Colonel Abdulla Khadim Surror Al Meseam, director of the Al Rafa police station, presided over the valedictory function of the discourse series.

The discourse series was inaugurated on November 10 by M.A. Yusuf Ali, member of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce. The inaugural ceremony was attended by M.P. Veerendra Kumar, MP, and P. Parameswaran, director of the Thiruvananthapuram-based Bharatiya Vichara Kendram. This is for the first time that a 45-day discourse on the Gita is being organised in the UAE.
