Plea to set up ayurveda university

MALAPPURAM: The District Development Council, which met here on Saturday, asked the State government to set up the proposed Ayurveda University called Ayush at Kottakkal. Plans were afoot to set up the university in Thiruvananthapuram. The university had originally been proposed for Kottakkal.

A resolution moved by Abdurahman Randathani, MLA, said there was a standing demand to upgrade the Kottakkal Ayurveda College to the status of a university.
