NGOs’ association cancels agitation

HYDERABAD: The city centre of AP NGOs’ Association and the AP Public Sector Employees’ Federation on Saturday cancelled their scheduled lunch-hour demonstrations demanding 30 per cent house rent allowance to the State staff. Chairman of the federation M. Janardhan Reddy said the demonstration was cancelled in view of Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy’s assurance on Friday to pay the enhanced HRA to the Government employees working in the limits of the GHMC.
