Cadets for Delhi

BANGALORE: A contingent of 100 NCC cadets from the Karnataka and Goa NCC Directorate left Bangalore on Friday to participate in the Republic Day camp in Delhi. A release issued here said that a send off function was held at the Yeshwanthpur Railway Station. The cadets were put through three preparatory camps in Bangalore and were trained in drill, cultural programme, national integration awareness presentation and depiction of social problems through flag area competitions, the release said. – Staff Reporter
