ISC, ICSE syllabi revised

NEW DELHI: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations has revised the syllabi of some of its subjects at the levels of Indian School Certificate (ISC) as well as the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) for the March 2010 examinations.

The syllabi is ready for printing and will be available on www.cisce.org from Monday. The printed copies will be sent to the 1,500-odd schools affiliated to the Council in the last week of January 2008.

The subjects that have been reviewed and revised by the Council for the ISC level (Classes XI and XII) are Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, History, Psychology, Economics and Accounts.

The syllabi will be effective from the schools’ academic year beginning April 2008 for Classes IX and XI.
