Thiruvananthapuram wins overall title

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Thiruvananthapuram won the overall title in the State school Taekwondo championship which concluded at the Jimmy George indoor stadium on Saturday. Thiruvananthapuram, which came first in both boys and girls sections, tallied 166 points and was followed by Malappuram with 77 points.

Thiruvananthapuarm won four gold medals and topped the boys table with 74 points. Thiruvananthapuram girls also won four gold medals and came first with 94 points.
