Chandan shines
Mysore: A good all-round performance by Chandan (five for 12 & 40 not out) helped Sharadha Vilas PU College register a facile seven-wicket win over JSS PU College (Ooty Road) and enter the quarterfinals in the D.H. Praveen Memorial inter-collegiate PU tournament at the Gangothri grounds here on Saturday.

Pre-quarterfinals: JSS PU College (Ooty Road) 144 in 25.4 overs (Chandan five for 12) lost to Sharadha Vilas PU College 147 for three in 25.2 overs (Chandan 40 not out).
SBRR Mahhajana PU College 263 for four in 30 overs (Rohit Tiwari 123 not out, Yogesh 46) bt Hardwicke PU College 122 in 19.3 overs (Abhishek four for 16).
