Then get ready to gamble away a few thousands bucks on eve of New Year. City hotels would be at your service with all these ingredients to make the intervening night of New Year a memorable one. Hotels and restaurants have just entered into war of advertisements and hoarding displays to attract customers for the December 31 night. Some hotels even promised to spoil you by serving unlimited wine. “Sweta Keswani and her partner Alex O’ Neill of Nach Baliye fame are all set to put our dance floor on fire on Monday. They are coming with their dance troupes from Mumbai. Moreover, we have got a DJ from Kolkata to ensure that our programme does not lag behind compared to others,” Vice President of city-based The Crown, A. Talukdar said here on Monday. The show would go on for four hours uninterruptedly with a promise that customers would enjoy their time thoroughly, he said. The hotel said both Bollywood and Ollywood world would merge perform together on that day. “Kahin Karta Hoga"- the popular album song from Intezar would be played by Jyotsna Navandar along with a series of exciting songs and remixes combined with dances, it said. Hotel Marion too roped in with twin performers from Nach Baliye and Indian Idol to make its show star studded. It promised to serve unlimited wine. Mayfair Lagoon, another big hotel of the city, planned out extravaganza on similar line with Irfan of Voice of India fame and laughter blaster Sunil Savra along with unlimited drinks in its premise. Exotic dancesBelly Dancers and troupes showing exotic dances would also descend on the city to add excitement to the evening. Four hours of thrill at different hotel would cost entry fee starting from Rs 2,500 to Rs 5000. “I don’t mind spending the money for once in a day to welcome the New Year day. Since we always work in pressure-cooker-like situation, a good evening will certainly shed off burden from our mind,” Deepak, software professional, said.
