Congress lost confidence of people: TDP

Correspondent

Chittoor: The Telugu Desam Party during its Praja Chaitanya Yathralu conducted in 13 assembly constituencies in the district has assessed several problems confronting to the people but not addressed by the State government. These were consolidated in a book form to be presented to the Collector with the people who were deprived of pensions and houses under Indiramma Pathakam, that was slated for the last day of the programme held on the Friday near Collector office.

But he has evaded it in spite of telling him about it in advance said B. N. Rajushimhullu, State secretary, vice presidents Indiramma and Badrinath and V. Surendrar Kumar, district president, publicity committee.

Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, they criticised the action of the Collector absenting himself and showing disrespect to the people’s problem.

The Congress has lost the confidence of the people not only in the State but in the country which was evident in the State assembly elections of Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh.

The common man has been burdened with the increasing prices essential commodities they charged. They alleged that malpractices were happening in all activities implemented by the government.
