Thiruvananthapuram: The Science Literature Awards of the State Council of Science, Technology and Environment for 2006 have been announced. The winners are K. Pappootty in the children’s literature section, P.S. Gopinathan Nair in the popular science section and Surendran Chunakkara in the journalism section. The award carries a purse of Rs.10,000 each, a plaque and a certificate. — Special Correspondent
