Kumaraswamy discharged

BANGALORE: Former Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy was discharged from a private hospital in the city on Sunday.

Mr. Kumaraswamy underwent a surgery at Wockhardt Hospital for replacement of aortic valve on December 20. After his discharge from the hospital, Mr. Kumaraswamy called on Sri Balagangadharanatha Swamiji and sought his blessings.

The former Chief Minister told presspersons here that he would return to active politics after a few weeks of rest.
