Handicraft exhibition

CHENNAI: An exhibition of interesting handicraft items made by rural artisans across the country is on at the Corporation Community Hall in Alwarpet here.

Inaugurated on Friday, the exhibition aims to bridge the gap between artisans and customers. About 90 different kinds of handicraft items and 22 handloom varieties are available at the exhibition-cum-sale organised by the Artisans Welfare Trust.

The exhibition will be open on all days between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. till January 17.
