Jewellery stolen

NAMAKKAL: A few unidentified persons stole seven sovereigns of jewellery and Rs. 21,000 from a house here on Thursday night. Police said Manikandan (21) of Azhagu Nagar kept a bag which contained the jewellery and cash near the window in his house and slept. On Friday morning, he found the bag missing and registered a complaint with the police.
