Rajeev wins two titles

NEW DELHI: Rajeev Sharma of Delhi Audit defeated his teammate Vijay Sharma 16-21, 21-6, 21-12 to clinch the men’s title in the inter-Ministry badminton tournament at the AIIMS Gymkhana here on Sunday.

Rajeev partnered Annie of Ministry of Defence to capture the mixed doubles title as well.

The results: Men (final): Rajeev Sharma bt Vijay Sharma 16-21, 21-6, 21-12.

Third place: Manmeet Singh bt Arul Sundaram 26-24, 19-21, 21-16.

Mixed doubles (final): Rajeev Sharma / Annie bt Vikram Bhasin / Neera 21-16, 21-17.
