‘Avoid ambiguity while setting question papers’ HAVERI: Assistant Director of the Pre-University Education Board S.V. Mohankumar has said that teaching and testing are two sides of the same coin. Speaking at the inauguration of the district level PU science question paper workshop at K.L.E. Society’s Gudleppa Hallikeri College here on Sunday, he said teachers should do justice to both processes. ‘Students confused’As the State Government had not yet published any PU science textbook, students were confused as textbooks available in the market had more topics than what had been prescribed. Teachers should guide students in this regard, he said. Mr. Mohankumar called upon teachers to conduct more preliminary tests in order to prepare students for the final examinations. He asked them to set question papers in such a way that there was no ambiguity. Deputy Director of the Pre University Education Board A.H. Mattur inaugurated the workshop. Principal C.M. Math and coordinator N.R. Birasal spoke. Principal B.S. Gavi presided over the function.
