Sirsi: The Bhatkal police have arrested Ambika Subramanya Shetti (26) and Guruchandra Subramanya Shetti of Hullukki village on Friday in connection with a child abuse case, according to the news reaching here on Sunday. They were allegedly torturing Madhu Muniyappa Shetti (9) of Shirali, a relative who was in their house. The boy, who tried to commit suicide, was rescued by industrialist Gopakrishna. The accused have been remanded to judicial custody. — Correspondent
