IGNOU to offer new courses

NEW DELHI: Indira Gandhi National Open University will soon offer new courses in two different modes -- one as an evening programme through the Distance Education Programme.

The courses are postgraduate diploma and M.A. in Youth Empowerment, Career Counselling, Gender Studies, Local Governance and Life Skill Education.

On successful completion of the first year, candidates will be awarded the postgraduate diploma in the subject concerned. On successful completion of the second year, candidates will be awarded M.A. degree in the area concerned.
