UPASI chief dead

Udhagamandalam: The United Planters Association of Southern India (UPASI) president, C.P. Kariappa, died in Bangalore on Saturday. He was 60, a press note issued by the UPASI secretary general, Ullas menon, at Coonoor on Sunday said.

He is survived by wife and two daughters.
