Driver dies in accident

BANGALORE: A lorry driver died and two were injured when the vehicle collided with a Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation bus near Nagasandra in Kudur police station limits on Sunday.

According to the police, the lorry was on its way from Bangalore to Chikmagalur while the bus was city-bound from Kunigal. The bus driver lost control over the vehicle and hit the lorry that was carrying asbestos sheets.

The lorry driver, who died on the spot, is yet to be identified. The cleaner of the lorry and the bus driver were admitted to Kudur Government Hospital, the police said.
