Bus stand for Udayarpalayam

ARIYALUR: The State Government has sanctioned administrative sanction for Rs.80 lakh to establish a bus stand at Udayarpalayam, the headquarters of one of the revenue sub-divisions of the district.
While 60 per cent of the estimate will be released as loan by the Tamil Nadu Urban Finance and Infrastructure Development Corporation and the Infrastructure Development Fund, the Udayarpalayam town panchayat would contribute the balance 40 per cent, the District Collector, V. M. Xavier Chrisso Nayagam, said in a press release issued here on Monday.
The Collector also said that work on the construction of the bus stand would commence in the course of time.
