KANNUR: Four sheds of fishermen in Ayikkara here were damaged in a fire in the early hours of Monday. The fire was noticed at around 1.30 a.m. Two units of Fire and Rescue personnel reached the spot and put out the fire. Three of the four sheds were completely damaged in the fire. The loss is estimated at Rs.2.6 lakh. A probe is on into the incident as anti-social elements are suspected to be behind it. — Staff Reporter
