Two killed

Krishnagiri: Two persons were killed and two others seriously injured when their vehicles dashed against an earthmover at Kurupurapalli near here on Monday.
The deceased were identified as Manikandan (21) of Pazhayapet and Gopi (22) of Chittoor. Police said Manikandan and Prabhu (25) of Pazhayapet, Gopi and Vasu (23) of Chittoor were riding two motorcycles from Hosur to Krishnagiri when the driver of the earthmover who was going ahead chose to take a right turn without cautioning the vehicles behind.
The two lost control and hit against the earthmover. The injured were admitted to the Krishnagiri Government Hospital. A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
