3.75 lakh to get free clothes

ARIYALUR: A total of 3.75 lakh persons will get free saris and dhotis on ‘Pongal’ festival in the district.

Collector V. M. Xavier Chrisso Nayagam said that the beneficiaries included 1.87 lakh women. The distribution would commence at fair price shops on New Year’s Day and continue till January 10.
