Couple commit suicide

DAVANGERE: A newly married couple committed suicide on Monday morning at Joshilingapura village in Harpanahalli taluk.

The police said Prakash (25) married Manjula (19) about eight months ago. Manjula reportedly first committed suicide by hanging herself.

On seeing his wife dead, Prakash consumed poison and hanged himself on a tree.

The police visited the spot and an investigation is on. — Staff Correspondent
