Several IPS officials transferred

BANGALORE: The State Government on Monday effected a major reshuffle of Indian Police Service (IPS) officials.

The following officials have been transferred: Kempaiah, Inspector General of Police, Grievances and Human Rights, Bangalore, has been transferred and posted as Inspector General of Police, Karnataka State Reserve Police, Bangalore.

Jeevan Kumar V. Gaonkar, Inspector General of Police, Karnataka State Reserve Police, Bangalore, has been transferred and posted as Inspector General of Police, Southern Range, Mysore.

H.C. Kishore Chandra, awaiting posting, has been posted as Inspector General of Police, CoD, Economic Offences, Bangalore, in the existing vacancy.

R.P. Sharma, Inspector General of Police, Southern Range, Mysore, has been transferred and posted as Inspector General of Police, Grievances and Human Rights, Bangalore. S.K. Venugopal, Inspector General of Police, Administration, Bangalore, has been transferred and posted as Inspector General of Police, Excise Enforcement Cell, Bangalore, in the existing vacancy.

Bhaskar Rao, awaiting posting, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Administration, Bangalore, in the revived cadre.

J. Arun Chakravarthy, Superintendent of Police, Shimoga district, Shimoga, has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Bijapur district.

Seemant Kumar Singh, Superintendent of Police, Mandya district, Mandya, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic East Division, Bangalore, in the existing vacancy.

K. Srinivasa has been transferred as Superintendent of Police, Bangalore Rural district.

S. Murugan, Superintendent of Police, Bijapur District, Bijapur, has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Shimoga district, Shimoga.

P.H. Rane, Superintendent of Police, Hassan district, Hassan, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic West Division, Bangalore, in the existing vacancy.

S. Ravi, awaiting posting, has been posted as Superintendent of Police, Mandya district, Mandya.

Devajyoti Ray, officer on special duty, Karnataka, Karnataka Bhavan, New Delhi, has been transferred and posted until further orders as Superintendent of Police, Udupi district, Udupi, in the existing vacancy.

Pawar Pravin Madhukar, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Chikmagalur Sub-Division, Chikmagalur, has been transferred and posted as Assistant Superintendent of Police, Koppal Sub-Division. D.L. Hanagi, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Koppal Sub-Division, proceeds on leave.

Pawar Pravin Madhukar has been placed in additional charge of vacant post of Superintendent of Police, Koppal district.

Sandeep Patil, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Bellary Sub-Division, has been promoted and posted as Superintendent of Police, Kodagu district, Madikeri, in the existing vacancy.

P.S. Harsha, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Puttur Sub-Division, has been promoted and posted as Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police, Puttur Sub-Division, Dakshina Kannada, in the upgraded post..

Labhu Ram, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Karkala Sub-Division, Udupi district, has been promoted and posted as Superintendent of Police, Hassan district, Hassan.

Vikash Kumar Vikash, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Bhatkal Sub-Division, has been promoted and posted as Superintendent of Police, Bangalore Rural district, Bangalore.
