Brigade in pact with IHG

MUMBAI: Real estate firm Brigade Enterprises said that it has signed a management contract with the U.K.-based InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG). Brigade Enterprises’ wholly-owned subsidiary, Brigade Hospitality Services Pvt. Ltd., has signed a contract with IHG, which would manage the new Holiday Inn hotel of BEL, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange. Meanwhile, Brigade Enterprises was listed on the NSE on Monday with the Chairman and Managing Director, M. R. Jaishankar, ringing the bell.

The new 250-room hotel, Holiday Inn Bangalore, would be developed by BEL near the Devanahalli International Airport and would be made operational by 2010. — PTI
