SIB opens 200th ATM

KOCHI: Film actor Mammootty, who is also the global brand ambassador for South Indian Bank (SIB), inaugurated the 200th online ATM centre of SIB at the Saritha, Savitha, Sangeetha theatre complex on Banerji Road, Ernakulam. V.A. Joseph, chairman and CEO of the bank presided over the function.

Dr. Joseph stated that the 200th ATM centre, planned to be opened before March 31,2008, was inaugurated three months ahead of the scheduled date. As on date, the bank has a CBS network of 487 branches and 27 extension counters.

The 500th CBS branch will be opened in New Delhi in March 2008.

Against a corporate business target of Rs.25,000 crore in total business for the fiscal year, the bank has already exceeded Rs.24,000 crore.

The bank has already crossed Rs.14,288 crore in deposit against the quarterly target of Rs.13,856 crore and also Rs.10,000 crore in advance, against the target of Rs.9,605 crore.
