Chandigarh: Riding on a brilliant hat-trick by drag-flick specialist Sandeep Singh, Chandigarh Dynamos rallied to beat Chennai Veerans 4-3 by a silver goal in the fourth Premier Hockey League at the Sector 42 Stadium here on Monday. Ravipal Singh netted the match-winner in the 76th minute. Earlier, Veerans took the lead in the 15th minute through a brilliant field goal by skipper Adam Sinclair. Dynamos came back early in the second quarter to restore parity through Sandeep. Veerans regained the lead in the 34th minute with Sinclair finding the target again. However, Dynamos drew level once again in the 44th minute with Sandeep using his power and guile to send the ball into the top left corner of the net off a short corner. Veerans’ short corner expert Raghunath made it 3-2. Dynamos equalised once again through Sandeep, who scored the first hat-trick of the fourth edition. — PTI
