HARIPAD: Muthoot ECC, Ernakulam defeated Cycle Brand Kids CC, Thiruvananthapuram by four wickets and won the title in the K.K. Sreenivasan memorial all-Kerala cricket tournament at the GBHS ground here on Tuesday. The highlight of Muthoot’s win was a fine all-round show by Manikandan whose decisive spell (four for 31) restricted Cycle Brand Kids to 219 runs. Sanoj (96) led the chase while Manikandan’s late flourish (69 n.o.) saw Muthoot ECC reach the target in the 38th over. The scores: Cycle Brand Kids CC 219 in 40 overs (Anoop 48, Manikandan four for 31) lost to Muthoot ECC 220 for six in 38 overs (Sanoj 96, Manikandan 69 n.o.).
