Christmas celebrated

MAKING MERRY: Christmas celebration at Vidivelli, a special school for mentally challenged children in Tiruchi. —

Christmas was celebrated with gaiety at Vidivelli, a special school for mentally challenged. A skit depicting the birth of Jesus Christ and performed by children was well received by the audience. N. Siva, Member of Parliament, was the chief for the function.

Provincial Sr. Roseline distributed prizes to the participants.

Fr. Amalamanickam delivered the Christmas message. Principal Sr. Bridgit Amutha was present on the occasion.

Skits, carols performed

Christmas was celebrated at the CSI Home for Children, Manapparai. Reader, Department of Commerce, Bishop Heber College, Rev. P. Manoharan was the chief guest and delivered the Christmas message. Correspondent A. Selvaraj presided over the function. Skits and carols by the students enthralled the audience. Christmas gifts and sweets were distributed to the inmates.
