Decoy check

The Railway Protection Force of the Southern Railway’s Madurai Division organised a decoy check in the Chennai-Guruvayur Express last week. A team of RPF personnel, led by the Assistant Security Commissioner, T. Murugaraj, travelled in the train and befriended some passengers. They then offered soft drinks which were accepted by passengers. The RPF officials explained the passengers the dangers of accepting such drinks from strangers. They were also advised not to consume any eatables and ‘prasadam’ offered by co-passengers or unknown persons.
