Focus on indigenous people

NEW DELHI: Aiming to bring together writers, artists and scholars from across the world interested in languages and literatures, cultures and histories of indigenous people, the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts is hosting a four-day conference here beginning Wednesday.
Collaborators
The programme, titled “Chotro Conference on Indigenous People in the Post-Colonial World – Language – Literature -- Culture -- History”, is being organised in collaboration with the Bhasha Research and Publication Centre, the European Association of Commonwealth Literature and Language Studies and the Indian Association for Commonwealth Literature and Language Studies.
Good attendance
Over a hundred delegates from abroad and an equal number from different parts of the country are expected to take part in the conference.
