Held for stealing gas

NEW DELHI: Two men have been arrested by the East Delhi police on charges of stealing gas from LPG cooking gas cylinders. Acting on a tip-off that two persons employed with a gas agency in East Vinod Nagar were stealing gas from the cylinders, the police arrested them. They were identified as Hargovind and Dharmender Singh, both residents of Uttar Pradesh. During interrogation, they allegedly disclosed that they used to fill empty cylinders from the sealed ones and sold them in the open market.
