Rajahmundry: The New Year 2008 is going to transform the Cultural Capital of Andhra Pradesh into crazy, busy city with extension of night life with so many attractions. Many industrialists, Multi National Companies are eyeing on this rich district as it is centrally located between Vijayawada-Visakhapatnam. Multiplexes, pubs, cricket stadium, medical college, Nannaya University Building, three more fm stations and so on are highlights of the New Year. “After Visakhapatnam, the real estate has taken a leap in Rajahmundry. The new SEZs are coming up between Rajahmundry and Kakinada. The floating population will automatically increasein coming years”-said R. Shopping mallsThree multiplex theatres and big shopping malls are planned in 2008 in Rajahmundry. One is by Reliance near Chitrangi guesthouse, second is by Anand Regency Hotels and third one is by a private party near a hotel adjacent to Godavari Railway Station. All multiplexes are going to have theatres, shopping complexes, food courts and lot of fun games. Reflecting City culture and on the lines of Vizag and similar to Kakinada, one Star Hotel has planned to open a pub cum ballroom dance space and another private investor has also approached Excise Department, police and other concerned departments to get permission for new pub in Rajahmundry
