Sydney: India’s cricketers had put the disappointment of the first Test behind them, consigning it to history, said left-armer Zaheer Khan here on Monday. "We don’t want to look back at it," said Zaheer. “We have moved on. That was in 2007, we are looking ahead at 2008. We are here to play good cricket, and we have to get our act together. There are still three Test matches left and we are here to win.” Face challengesAsked if he was disappointed with the Indian batsmen not backing up the bowlers, Zaheer said, “We work as a team, and sometimes the bowling unit clicks and sometimes the batting. We have to face challenges together." Zaheer said Rahul Dravid was due a “big one”, adding the team was “backing him to bounce back”. On the adaptation needed for Australian conditions, the new-ball bowler said, “The approach here is different. The outfields are sand-based so we have to adapt (in the run-up) to that. It takes time to get acclimatised.” Zaheer said he was surprised with the number of times he over-stepped at Melbourne. “It’s happened after long, I’ll definitely work on it.” — Special Correspondent
