Lifestyle show drawing crowds

The second edition of The Hindu MetroPlus Lifestyle Show will end on January 6.

KOCHI: The second edition of The Hindu MetroPlus Lifestyle Show which got under way here last Friday has drawn good crowd for the past three days.

Besides national brands, the show has brands from Thailand and Pakistan. The 10-day show is closing on January 6.

The show provides a complete shopping experience replicating the malls and bazaars, with an array of products on show, says Santosh, an employee of Sutherland. It is giving an ambience of national shopping festival.

The lifestyle show contains a variety of products like furniture, automobiles, home appliances, garments, electronic products, perfumes, kitchen utensils, jewellery and imported costume products from Thailand.

Compared to other stalls, furniture and home appliances sections have more visitors. The new patterns and designs of furniture and furnishing products are eye-catching.

Most of the stalls have come out with offers besides the discounts announced by the companies.

Flora Robertson, a visitor from the United Kingdom, says that the products on the lifestyle show are of good quality. There are some grievances too. Some visitors say there is not a single used automobile stall. There is only one tour operator’s stall, says another.

Most of the visitors agree that lifestyle show is people-friendly.
