Women boxing championships

Kakinada: The 3rd Women and the 2nd Sub-Junior Women National Boxing Championships 2007-08 will be held at the District Sports Authority stadium here from January 25 to 30. It is being jointly organised by East Godavari District Amateur Boxing Association (EGDABA) and District Olympic Association (DOA).

Nearly 400 women boxers and 150 technical and team officials are taking part in the events, according to Championship organising secretary Ch. Venugopala Krishna.
