ALAPPUZHA: The body of a woman, Valsala, 46, was found in a well near her house at Thekkekara village under the Kuruthikad police station limits in Mavelikara on Tuesday morning. The police said Valsala, who was running a bakery at the Kuruthikad junction, was missing from her home from around 11 last night. Neighbours found her body in the well this morning. The body had an injury on the knee. Valsala, whose husband died 11 years ago, is survived by two sons.
