Film actors to be feted at Yanam fete
Kakinada: As part of the Yanam festival celebrations, film actors Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Krishnam Raju, Kaikala Satyanarayana, Anjali Devi, Sarada, Devadas Kanakala, R Narayana Murthy and Saradhi will be felicitated at GMC Balayogi stadium at Yanam on January 6.
Dr Sobha Raju will render Annamacharya sankeertans on the same day.
Besides, songs competitions will be organised to mark the occasion.
On the second day (January 7), various adventure sports will be organised. These include water sports in the Gowthami river at the ferry road. This will be followed by western dances involving TV artists.
On the final day of the festival, Garikapati Narasimha Rao will give a lecture on literature.
During the next three days, renowned magician Jadugar Anand will give shows twice a day.
