TRAI on broadband speed

NEW DELHI: The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India on Tuesday asked service providers to specify the minimum speed of broadband plan, which must be at least 256 Kbps. In a statement here, the regulator said it has already written to all the service providers not to use words like ‘up to’ while specifying the minimum speed of the plan.
