Cane procurement price fixed

BERHAMPUR: The Aska Cooperative Sugar Mill decided to fix procurement price of sugarcane at Rs. 980 per tonne for current sugarcane crushing season. Recently the sugarcane growers association of Ganjam district had demanded the procurement price of sugarcane to be increased. The decision to increase procurement price of sugarcane was taken at the meeting of the management committee of the sugar mill headed by the Ganjam District Collector V.K. Pandian.
