Modi to install ‘small Cabinet’ on January 4

GANDHINAGAR: A “small Cabinet” under Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi will be installed on Friday.

The swearing-in has been fixed at 9 a.m. on the State Assembly premises, but no indications are yet available of the number of ministers to be inducted.

Sources close to the Chief Minister’s office indicated that it would be a “small Cabinet” and the exact size would be decided by Mr. Modi .

Mr. Modi took the oath on December 25 after registering an impressive victory for the BJP in the Assembly elections held last month.
