Financial aid distributed to student toppers

NAMAKKAL: Collector G. Sundaramurthi on Wednesday distributed financial assistance to students belonging to fishermen families and scored high marks in SSLC and Plus II public examinations in the district.

He handed over a sum of Rs. 3,000 to a student, Saranya, who scored high marks in Plus Two.

The following SSLC toppers in the district were also given assistance:

Boys: Gopi of Cholasiramani, Prabhakaran and Sekar, both from Pallipalayam.

Girls: Shalini, Sathya and Sudha, all from Pallipalayam.
