Hosdurg sub-district leading in fete

KASARAGOD: Hosdurg education sub-district is leading with 48 points in the Kasaragod district schools arts festival that began at the Government Higher Secondary School, Paravanadukkam, Chemmanad, on Tuesday.

Cheruvathoor sub-district is in the second place. Sooraj Kakkarayil, Class X student of Udinoor GHSS, won three first prizes in drawing, water colour and cartoon in the high school section.

In the teachers’ training institute festival, V. Saumya of Government TTI, Kannavayal, secured the first prize in poetry writing.
