I avoid answering religious leaders”, was his response to a question on Mr. Sudershan’s remarks. He was ready to answer political parties on all matters connected to the project. The Minister said the canal would be 12 metres deep and 86 per cent of the world’s ships could navigate through it. 31 projects in StateMr. Baalu, who reviewed the progress of National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) projects in Tamil Nadu, said presently 31 projects, involving expenditure of Rs.9650 crore were in progress covering a length of 1,788 km.
