Judge sworn in

BANGALORE: Justice Deepak Verma was sworn in judge of the Karnataka High Court on Wednesday.

Justice Verma, who was a judge in the Madhya Pradesh High Court, was transferred to the Karnataka High Court.

Rajendra C. Desai, chairman of the Karnataka State Bar Council, welcomed Justice Verma. The Chief Justice of the Karnataka High Court, Cyriac Joseph, judges, advocates and High Court staff were present. — Staff Reporter
