Hyundai Motor sales up 9.2 p.c.

CHENNAI: Hyundai Motor India registered a combined sales of 3.27 lakh vehicles in 2007, an increase of 9.2 per cent over 2006. In the domestic market, it clocked a growth of 7.6 per cent at two lakh units. Exports grew by 11.8 per cent to 1.27 lakh units. In December, the company recorded sales of 24,664 units, including exports of 11,586 units, says a release. — Corporate Reporter
