Easy win for Gateway CC

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Gateway CC scored a 24-run win over Cricket Club of Kerala in the Thiruvananthapuram district ‘E’ division league here on Wednesday.

The scores: Gateway CC 214 for seven in 25 overs (Prasanth 65, Arun 52, Padmanabhan five for 49) bt Cricket Club of Kerala 190 for eight in 25 overs. Applications invited

Anoop (five for 31) ran through the Lovers’ innings.

The scores: YMCC 229 for eight in 45 overs (Saji 114 n.o., Pradeep three for 57) bt Lovers CC 108 in 30.1 overs (R. Anoop five for 31).

Facile win

Civil Services defeated Titanium by five wickets in the Thiruvananthapuram district ‘D’ division cricket league here on Wednesday.

The scores: Titanium 160 in 25 overs (Tinu 40, Shibin five for 28, Jeevan four for 36) lost to Civil Services 166 for five in 21 overs (Kannan 50 n.o., Shinu five for 21).
