Mohata, DSM in the lead

Bharuch: Ashok Goel’s Dhampur Sugar Mills (DSM) led Group B with 92 VPs out of a possible 100 after four rounds of Swiss league in the 49th National bridge championship at the GNFC Sports Complex here on Wednesday.

The team is represented by Ashok Goel, Kamal Mukherjee, Pritish Kushari, Kamal Roy, Aloke Sadhu and S.K. Dutt. Indian Railways ‘B’ is second with 89.

Mohata of Nagpur (B.K. Mohata, S. Chhajed, S. Ray, G. Sundaramurthy, D. Dabke) was on top of Group ‘A’ with 89 VPs.

The top 12 (after four rounds):

Group ‘A’: Mohata (89), Kabra (82), Faria (79), Manyavar (78), Smoak (77), Formidables (76), Pankaj Kapadia (76), Bajaj (75), Indian Railways ‘A’ (74), Wearology (73), NALCO and Tolani (69 each).

Group ‘B’: Dhampur Sugar (92), Indian Railways ‘B’ (89), India Blues (79), Kaushik (78), Surat Tennis Club (76), Sri Lanka (73), Heartland Green (73), Rajeev Khandelwal (72), Bridge Harmony (71), J.P. Goenka (69), Hindvijay (69) and Soumitra (64).
