Two more scientists will accompany him He has named his children on Indian names of moon and star Cuttack: Colonel Edward Michael Fincke, NASA’s astronaut, who has spent more than six months in space on board International Space Station (ISS) is visiting Cuttack on Thursday along with two of his colleagues from NASA. Interactive sessionFincke is scheduled to address the students of DAV Public School here and have an interactive session with the students to share his experience in space, informed the School Principal L. N. Pradhan. NASA senior scientists Sarat Chandra Praharaj and Surendra Gupta will be with the astronaut. Both Praharaj and Gupta are the alumni of the prestigious IIT, Khargapur. They will also meet the school children and share their experiences . Another missionFincke, who spent about 187 days, 21 hours and 17 minutes in space from April to October 2004, is will be the commander of another space mission on a Soyuz spacecraft in October 2008. Currently he is staying in Houston in Texas in the United States of America with wife Renita. Fincke has named his two children ‘Chandra’ and ‘Tara’, which are the Indian names of moon and star.
